well i have narrowed it down to 2 silverado's a blue granite and a desert brown one 1500 ltz crew cab. with the blue granite truck they have added a chrome pkg, door handles, tow hooks, step shield, chrome bug deflector and a painted grill. this truck is fully loaded except navi. the desert brown is fully loaded, everything. i wanted the blue granite one till the dealer sent me some pictures as i don't like the painted grill, it's just is missing something now. i didn't want to spend the extra 1500 bucks for the add ons, and the desert brown is 600 more on top of that, but least i am getting something i would use. posted a thread about the navi and kind of made up my mind i would it take the navi..... its the colour brown don't know if i would want to look at that for the next few years. what do you guys think blue or brown. i have always been a blue truck guy ......heres a picture of the blue granite, i don't have a picture of the desert brown......help me decide, i want to be happy with the decision i make... not sure if the picture is attached or not

Obviously I am a fan of the Blue Granite but I definitely think that's a sharp truck. With a few little things and four big ones (wheels), you'd have an extremely good looking truck.

Here's what I'd do if I were you:

1. Remove the chrome bug guard (if you have to have one, go color-matched).

2. Replace the gold bow tie with a chromed billet one.

3. Tint the front windows.

4. Pick out a nice set of chrome wheels and add some nice AT tires.

5. De-badge all the extra emblems and stickers.

That would be one sick combination. You're almost there and if you hang out with us long enough, you will end up buying new wheels anyway.

I agree...but don't let Daddy or anyone talk you into any "pimp" 20"+ wheels. Get some nice 18's with some meaty A/T's so your truck looks like a truck and not some pimpmobile like Daddy's... :D j/k Daddy.

No offense to anyone with a brown truuck, but why would you even consider a color that matches a turd? Not a huge fan of "Old Man Blue" either, but that's just IMO, Blue is a nice color. I am actually not a fan of any colors other than Black. I only chose Steel Gray because I am too lazy to keep black clean and gray is the next closest and hides the dirt very nicely.

Funny how you don't like "Old Man" Blue but you do like "I'm stuck in 1990" 18's. J/K, of course, kind of.

I think the brown looks really sharp on the nbs silverados. I would go with the brown if it was up to me.

I like that brown too, I almost got it myself...if they had one with ebony leather instead of the tan I would have.

Jeff is just in denial right now, he really wants 20s on that old man colored Sierra

I think that blue one either needs the chrome bumper or the handles and mirror should be color matched. For me the way it sits just looks incomplete. So of the 2 I'd probably pick the brown but you need to pick what your happy with, screw everybody else

    • Hello All!   My 2019 Colorado 3.6 LT, 4WD Crew Cab has approximately 77,500 miles and I recently began experiencing the well-known transmission shudder between about 30 and 65 mph. The problem had worsened to the point that I could no longer attribute it to road conditions - and I had decided to bring the truck to the dealer - when recently, I experienced a sudden loss of power while driving at maybe 40 MPH. Several warning lights flashed, the “Check Stabilitrack” message appeared, and the Check Engine, Stabilitrack, and Traction Control icons remained illuminated. The truck regained driving power, but it stayed in a low gear with unusually high RPMs for the speed. (limp mode?) Because I was only about two miles from home, driving slowly, I was able to make it back and run an OBD-II scan, which showed fault codes U0101, P0700, and U0100. My next trip in the truck was to drive it to the dealer the following day. That trip began normally, but after about a mile I experienced another loss of power, along with the same warning lights and the same “Check Stabilitrack” message. As before the truck remained driveable, but again operated at an abnormally high RPM-to-speed ratio and seemed stuck in a single gear. About a mile later, the dashboard lit up once more, this time displaying “Check 4WD.” Soon after that, I arrived at the dealer. I have verified that the truck still has its original factory transmission fluid, which means it has never received the corrective fluid exchange outlined in GM Technical Service Bulletin #18-NA-355.  That was Thursday of last week and I've heard nothing yet from the dealer.    According to Technical Service Bulletin #18-NA-355 and the build date of my truck, my truck should have the newer LV fluid. I've done a little research and read something about a problem with the wiring harness as well.   Anyone have an insights into this situation?  Thank you!!

    • Did you even read this article?   Even the title of the article says "U.S.-Iran Deal Doesn’t Mean a Swift Return of Oil and Gas Flows"   Remember, crude oil prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the oil companies.  Gas prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the station.  This article stated that many of the oil producing nations have to restart their processes to get the oil produced.  Then the oil has to be shipped to wherever.  And it doesn't get there overnight.  And most of that oil is not coming here. Check out this site:  https://afdc.energy.gov/data/10621   A graph will pop up to show where the US imports their oil from.  Notice that there isn't a lot of import from OPEC and Iraq.  Most of the US import comes from Canada. The US oil produces are selling their oil on the open market, which is why the US fuel costs went up.  So you're correct, the US oil companies are going to slow walk the price downward.
