Memory Seats

Hey, I've got an '04 Yukon 5.3l with power everything but have noticed recently that about every other week or so the truck seems to "forget" the seat position that I had programmed. Does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it? Thanks,

My 2004 Z71 Tahoe had the same problem, and I've read threads where others have seen the same thing. Our main issue was in driver 1 vs. driver 2 settings not being right - a programming fix while the Tahoe was under warranty didn't really fix it. We just pretty much only used the driver 1 key. Besides that, though, we also had the problem of the programmed settings getting forgotten. If yours is doing the same thing, the seat pulls all the way forward. This can be pretty scary when your sitting in the seat at the time!

What others suggested, and what worked for us, was to change the DIC settings so that the vehicle does NOT change the seat setting for both driver 1 and driver 2. I don't remember reading about anyone who had found a real fix for the problem. Best of luck!
