Tonight I changed to my summer wheels, tires, and new sensors. After I changed the the TPS light was not lighted. I don't understand why it did not light because I did not reset the the system by adding air and the horn beeping thing. My tires still show that I have 38 PSI and I only have 35 PSI in them. I think I tricked the system into thinking I did not change the the tires. Any one know whats going on here.

Where did you store the winter wheels and tires? I have mine in a barn behind my house and they often register with the truck when it's sitting in the driveway and will stay in the DIC display for some time to follow. I'm guessing you stored them close to where you park it.

My barn is a good 100' from my driveway and behind my house. You'll just need to go through the relearn process with the new sensors and you'll be good to go.

I'm just glad not to got through the whole learn process. I think I'll just let the truck think that it has the factory tires on yet that way I don't have to go through the whole relearn process. Will it work?

Sure, as long as the sensors are within range and you don't ever move the truck...

I took the truck for a 3 mile drive and the sensors did not change. I even shut the truck of and started it again to see if it would recognize any thing different and it didn't. I think I actually tricked it.

Maybe you did but I doubt it. I just got back from driving about 50 miles over the last few hours running errands and it appears that I still have 27 lbs in my right rear tire and 0 lbs in all the rest. It's a PITA but take few minutes and relearn the system. It is, after all, designed to keep you and your family safe. I bought my wheels and tires slightly used so there were no TPMS sensors in them when I got them but I plan to add them now that spring has rolled around.
