Coolent Problem

i took truck in for inspectiona few days ago they told me they topped off fluids . well today noticed my coolent over flow and resvor tank the green anti freeze is now brown did they add wrong coolent to truck ? and if so what kind of damage do you think driveing about 500 miles has done ?

I thought you could put green into red, but not red into green?

 

I could be mistaken.

There full of crap GM started Dex cool in 1996 and they do not recommend mixing. I would demand a free flush and replacement of the Green Antifreeze.

Have it drained and re-filled, but do NOT let them flush it. Flushing older radiators is just asking for leaks. Every time I have flushed out (backflushed) and older (10+ years old) radiator, it started leaking soon afterward.
