i go to wal mart to return 2 cans of spray paint dident need them .well the lady at customer service looks at me and mumbles in some kind of launague indian i think well i just look at her she waves at me . so i walk up and shes still mumbleing and tells me she needs id i told her no i have my recept just give me the whole 2 something back well she dose return and i relaze shes shorted me . so i tell her she says no i ask to see manage she asks me mind you i still can hardly understand her that im mistaken so manger finaly comes up she tells him that i dident speak clear english what i wanted . by this pont im pissed so i told her learn d**n english or get the hell out of my country

 

and walked away mind you she was the ne ot speaking clearly and fighting with me .

Anyways my wife and I have arguements/disagreements over this. I say things like "assimulate" or "I should not have to press 1 to speak in english" and she gets upset over that.

 

I know exactly what your talking about in Wal-Mart though. I've run into a few employees who should not even be on the floor because they can't speak english its damn frustrating and they just smile...WTF! Then again not to take away from the ones that can speak english, every now and again I run into the ones that speak retard.

Yeah, Sometimes it is frustrating for me even though I work with Hispanics and when I am walmart I wont go through a checkout unless I can tell that the employee is fluent in English and appears to be somewhat educated!

Don't care for Walmart myself. The only reason I even go to one is for the pharmacy, and to buy motor oil. Their 5qt jug is about $5 cheaper than the part stores 4qt jug. I haven't really experienced the language problem here in NE Ohio, but as for any customer service on the telephone, well that is a new ballgame.
