With MountianeerTom posting about his sons truck and everyone chiming in on their first ride I thought we should do this again.

My first full time daily driver was a 64 Rambler American Stationwagon!! A babe magnet it wasn't but with the back seat folded foward and the front seats laid back it made a great bed!!!!! Just had it until I bought my first Chevelle but I did put a lot of miles on the old flat head 6 cylinder. :smash:

1957 Ford Custom 300. Rescued from the back field of my great uncle's farm, where it had been sitting since my great aunt's death a few decades before. Same model as this one, but not in nearly as good shape.

It had a 312ci V8 with a 4bbl Holley carb on it. For its size, it was pretty quick, and a lot of fun to drive. I was in an accident in it once. I t-boned a guy who ran a red light. He was in an early 80's Toyota. I bent his frame, snapped his front axle, and broke both side windows, his windshield, and rear window. His car had to be towed off on a flat bed. Mine had a scuff on the bumper. That was an awesome car.

First Vehicle I purchased:

1993 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 Police Package (ex-Colorado State Patrol) A very nice and fun to drive car.

First 4X4 I purchased:

1989 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L 5-Speed Still the best 4X4 I have owned to date, I could go places and drive through stuff in that thing that my Sierra would get stuck in. the 4.0 was bullet proof. I wish I would never have sold her.

My first car was a '67 Plymouth Sport Fury with a 383 that I bought 2 months before I got my license back in '76. I was working at an old Sohio gas station and bought it off my boss. My old man was constantly bitching about that one.

Well, my first 'ride' with 4 wheels was a little red wagon. Then it was a skateboard. This is my first one with a motor and 4 wheels though...

My first ride I actually bought myself was a '69 GTO with about 68k on the clock. I ended up selling it because I was driving back and forth from San Antonio to Lubbock and gas was getting expensive($.88 a gallon!). Man, I could kick myself for doing that.
