Leaky/foggy Taillights

I have an 07 NNBS reg. cab 4x4 WT trim and my tail light is starting to fog up a little inside the lense. I don't leave my truck outside, its kept underneath a carport....I got a good bit of rain this last Friday and then Saturday I was loading my truck up when I noticed my tail light was sorta foggy on the inside....mainly in the clear reverse part, on my left one, didn't think to check my right side....Its fixing to start getting a lot more hot and humid out here in TX so should I just bring it in to the dealer to have it fixed or what? Shouldn't this be covered under the warranty if I do decide to bring it in? Has anyone else had this happen yet on the new body styles?

 

I am not too worried about it, just hate what foggy lenses look like in a year or two of this. If I can I may be able to get a pic of it, if it starts getting warmer tonight, I should see some more rain this week.

Just a guess on my part Josh, but sounds like the seal may be broken somewhere. Had a "foggy" fog light a couple of months back and eventually the lens popped off. Don't think that would happen with a tail light.

 

If it were me it would go back to the dealer... it is between the bumpers! Might wait until there were more things that needed their attention but I'd make sure to point it out. I have always had a list of nit-picky little things for the dealer to fix when the 3-36 was just about over.

I hear ya, thanks, I am going to be due for an oil change here sometime soon and may just go back to them, need to call them about that free one I am supposed to get anyways.
