for those that ordered there nnbs truck how long did yall have to wait? i ordered a 1/2 ton, crew cab, 6.0 max, 20's, and was told around 6 weekks but could be sooner because things have been slow. just courious. thanks!

Ordered mine Jan 22nd, 2007. It was built Feb 23rd and I took delivery March 10th.

 

Is your build affected by the strike?

Ordered mine Jan.11th,It was built Mar.5th,shipped Mar.9th,and arrived at the dealership Mar.13th. Mine was built at the Fort Wayne,In. plant.

Your crew-cab will be built at either the Oshawa,Ontario Canada plant or the Mexico plant.

hey by the way i noticed you have the max with 3;73's instead of 4;10's just like what im getting. my question is do you have disc brakes on the rear? i was told only the 4;10 trucks had them but didnt know.

I too have the Vmax with 3.73's and I have 4 wheel discs.

 

If you get a 6.0 and Stabilitrak, you WILL get 4 wheel discs.

If you get a 6.0 and Stabilitrak, you WILL get 4 wheel discs.

 

 

Yes,I have rear disc brakes,I ordered it Stabilitrak to get the rear discs.

All crew-cabs have Stabilitrak as standard equipment,So you'll get rear discs with the 6.0 on your truck (Stabilitrak is optional on extended-cabs so I ordered it just to get the rear discs)

I have rear drums with Stabilitrak.....mine is a 5.3 though.....I think the Vortec Maxx Package is where you get the discs on the rear?

Yep,You must get the 6.0 w/Stabilitrak to get the rear discs.

But you NOT need to get the NHT Max Trailering Pkg to get the 4 wheel discs. Just the L76 6.0 Engine and Stabilitrak.

If you just ordered your truck 2008 recently you may end up waiting until the 2009's come out. The AA strike has stopped all plants for now. Fort Wayne & Oshawa are only running to build Lead Unit Build trucks for 2009.

Our dealership is out of trucks due to the axle strike, they have a bunch on order however with no axles the trucks are going nowjere fast.
