I have put in 2 new batteries and the truck will not turnover. The dash and lights are fine, but when I turn the key, I get one loud click and nothing. Im starting to think it might be the starter, solenoid or a fuse somewhere? Just looking for some suggestions?

Cheers

Would I be correct to guess the click is from the starter? If that is the case, check the large battery cable to the starter. I that is good, I would (please do this carefully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) jump across the starter and eliminate the solenoid. If this is it, then a solenoid/starter assembly.

Good advice.

GM truck battery cables are bad about corroding internally... Check the ground and positive for continuity. Really sounds like a bad cable or solenoid by your description IF the click you describe is coming from the starter.

Okay. I checked all the fuses, and the wires. I have nto done a conetuity test, how do you do that? Im going to try and jump the starter this weekend. Whats the best way to do this, and do I climb underneath? Is it obvious which wires to jump?

I don't think a continuity check is going to do it. If the starter is clicking your probably going to see good continuity regaurdless of corrosion. A voltage drop test would be the route to go. Either way your going to need a good multimeter, do you have one?
