Bilsteins On The Way. Hope They're Worth It.

Ordered a set of HD Bilsteins for my 04 Sierra 4x4 today. Should be here within a week. Will there be a noticeable difference in the ride and handling? Hopeing to also get rid of an aggravating bounce at 45 mph I have as well. Not sure if they will help that problem but overall, I hope these shocks are as good as everyone says they are cause they cost nearly 3 tanks of gas.

i bought Rancho's for the rear of my truck since they were cheaper than bilstiens... but they are still a very nice shock and i really really like em... my front ones are fine but id really like to replace the front ones now..

I have Bilstein HD on my other truck and I think they are deffinatley worth the price. You will notice an improvment

So far they have the best price I have seen. I need a set for my truck, Thats where I'm looking to get them. I want to try and see if they will give me a better cost since I work like 2 miles from their office and will have to pay Florida sales Tax . This is an interesting topic. Does the Bilsteins provide a stiffer or firmer ride?

I have a 1500 and don't normally drive with heavy loads. Mostly ride with the family and dog, but sometimes load it up with camping gear (not what I would call a heavy load). I would consider a firmer ride, but not stiff (like a work truck) if you know what I mean.
