Can't Get Alternator Out

Please don't kill me for asking a question about a GM car rather than a GM truck here.

 

I'm trying to replace the alternator on my younger brother's 1998 Lumina 3100 V6. I've got both bolts removed but it seems to be suck near the bottom bolt. I've got it free in the upper area and it can move front to back but just won't come out from the car.

 

Any ideas? Would would you techs do in a similar situation at the dealership?

I try my best to not work on my dad's 96 Lumina. Its the same thing that you have and the alternator went out but we sent it to the dealership because I hate working in that tight engine compartment. Sorry bout your troubles.
