Just curious , im not buying right now but i saw these on-line and realy like them, my problem is i honestly like them cuz they look cool and i do have a little bit of a performance truck. I just dont know if they are toatally necessary for like $600 or so. I understand GM coils are good for 90k volts or something (correct me if im wrong).

600 bucks is a lot of money for something that will only look cool. The only scenario I see them outperforming the stock coil packs is if your running some serious boost.

Not worth it. Even the guys with the f-body's and vette's stick to the stock coils. Some say the 6.0 are the best but even the stock 98 ls1 coils have taken cars deep into the 8's. Spend the $600 else where

Yeah i think your right guys, I got a buddie that has late model firehawk with tons of mods on it. and he had said the same thing, There cool if you got the money to blow on them but not any kind of neck jerking hp or anything like that. I guess id probley be better off just painting mine red..lol
