Another damp day, and another day of cranking and "NO STARTING". Did anyone out there ever have this problem? Any suggestions? This truck is going to make me switch over to F*RD.

Fixed it. Just had to crawl up in the engine compartment to see the screws to the dist cap since it is up underneath the cowl. Got it off, dried it out, put it back on, started right up.

I'm guessing these things have an issue in wet weather?

Having the same issue with my 05 with the 4.3 Got a good hard rain last night. This morning won't start. Acts like and older model gm with carb and HEI when it gets wet but I cannot find where or how to pull the cap to dry it out.

p1345 is also a camshaft sensor. At least it is on my '99 5.7. If it fails, your truck won't start.

OK, I replaced cam sensor. Truck would not start before i did, but started afterwards. Engine light went out also. Now I have to wait until the next damp or rainy day to see if the "NO START" problem happens again. Thanks for the feedback!!
