Silverado Maintenance

I have a used 2003 Silverado and am wondering what I should do to keep it in tip-top shape. It has 85,000 miles on it. Next time I go to my mechanic I plan on getting new brake pads, an oil change, and the transmission fluid changed. Should I change the fluid in the rear axle (I have the G80 locking differential)? Is there any other fluid I should change or regular maintenance I should perform?

Yeah, I would go ahead an change the differential fluid. I have 65000 on mine and there was a lot of metal on the cover magnet. If I were you, I would also go ahead and have the plugs and wires changed.

Change transfer case, and differential fluid. Maybe the antifreeze, and blinker fluid.

I just opted for the synthetic blinker fluid; seems much smoother now.

Don't forget the "tornado" thingy and magnets to boost your MPG. But in all seriousness it sounds like you got it covered.
