Here is my new ride. I just finished tuning everything up. It has the 5.7 power everything. Not 4wd( thats what my beater Yota is for) Unfortunately, I think i have the infamous steering clunk and am waiting til i have time to fix it.

140,000. It runs like a champ though. fuel pump is a little whiny and the gas gauge flutters, but that seems to be very common

Nice truck Brandt; looks very clean. There's not too many '98s in good condition out here in the rust belt.

My plans are to fix the gas gauge and the car stereo cause damn it sounds like garbage. But im planning on getting an exhaust system put on. Cant decide on a 40 or 50 series flowmaster. Also, Im debating whether or not to keep the tonneau cover or throw a weather guard box for all my tools.

if you do have the clunk, try the doorman OE replacement (somebody here recommended it to me)
