Ac Bypass Pulley Or Tensionor Jumping

My wife’s 2002 Yukon Denali XL is making a really loud noise when accelerating with the AC on. I have noticed the bypass pulley or tenisionor is bouncing around so much that it makes the loud noise when contacting metal lines next to the pulley. I went ahead and ordered a new pulley, however I am not certain this is the cause. Any of you know what maybe causing the pulley to jump around? Thanks
