I Got My Chevy This Weekend!

Well the wife and I finally ventured to Gastonia to get out puppy Saturday Morning.... He did really great in the car and his first night and full day with us...

 

We had not accidents in the car ride and he only woke up once at 4 am and he crapped and peed and we then played with him for a while and put him back in his kettle. He howled for 5 minutes which we were crackin up cause we thought it was funny and then the next thing I know we all wake up and its morning...

 

Ooohh yeah back to the car ride.. He is a funny little rascal... We thought that he would be sitting in our laps the entire ride. Nope... He has a think for higher ground and climbed up on our shoulders the whole ride home...

 

Today was a busy day for him, we had my family over for lunch and then we went to my adopted family's house (they adpoted me believe it or not) and ate dinner and Chevy got to meet their 3 dogs...

 

And now we are home and he is in his cage for the night....

I'm assuming the guy in those pictures is you. If so, that fire pic of the dog behind you, he looks like he's thinking "I am soooo going to pee down his back... ahhhhhhhh!!!"

Yeah he seems to feel really safe with us... I took him for a ride on the truck to our friends house and I had the center console up and he sat right next to me. He slept the whole way home..

I thought that might happen sometime during the trip.... He did have one accident on his bed by the cage today but he just woke up and he was eating and they re was a lot of people around....

 

But he is a puppy and you will get that!

Cool! Congrats! After I get more settled-in here and make sure the backyard and fences are "doggie proof," I'm planning to get some sort of young dog.. Probably a Shepard or something along those lines. One step at a time.
