Passenger Window Issue

I am not sure if anyone can diagnose the issue here but I will try to explain as best I can and hopefully someone can help with the problem, my 2002 GMC Sierra passenger side front window(2 door truck) will not go up or down when you press the switch, however when you do press the switch you can hear the motor running but the window is doing nothing, anyone know what the problem is ?? I had thought about taking the door panel off and inspecting what the problem is or could be but with my luck I would take the door panel off and then it wouldnt go back on, also if the problem is what one suggests it is, is there any idea how much it would/should cost to get fixed.

If you can hear the motor run then it is the window regulator that is failed.
