I have an 07 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I love the truck but i've noticed something recently and it made me come up with an idea. I've noticed that some of the new style Chevy Silverado's have a really aggresive looking hood. With air dams up by the windshield. My question is can one of the chevy Hoods fit a GMC? The GMC and Chevy are set up very similar and I didnt know if something like this was possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Edit: My GMC is the New Body Style.

somebody must know the answer to this one. . .

If you look at the two, the GMC and Chevy have different shapes at the front. Your GMC grille would look funny without the top portion that mounts to the hood. It even looks like there is a different shape to it above the headlights.

Also the front fenders are different so I don't think the hoods would line up very well. I read somewhere that there no body panels that will interchange between the silveraldos and sierras
