Nbs 07 - Rear Clunk When Turning Left Only

I took a look under the truck a few mins ago and didn't feel/see anything out of the ordinary. I did perform a search and only came up with a driveline clunk...from the slip-yoke. I'm not too certain that is my problem.

When I turn left and hit a light bump/uneven surface, I hear a clunk coming from the left, rear side. I can't figure out wtf it is and its starting to bug me. Truck only has 3200 miles, but its been doing it for a while. I'm thinking its something with the leaf-spring or something. Im actually about to go out and take a look, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this same issue.

Crap, I think it might be coming from the front now....AHHHHHHHHH On a side note I drove to the beach this weekend with 4 friends and all of our crap and got a sweet 19.8mpg there and back. I was very happy with that.

My wife had an 06 Avalanche (we called it a Chickup) that had clunks, bumps and rattles from day one. The dealer changed motor mounts, body mounts, etc. We got rid of the Chickup and have no regrets. It also had the differential clunk GM told us was normal. I have owned GM for 35 years and that one was new to me. I guess it took them decades to engineer that noise in. Okay, I ranted and did not help. The motor mounts did quiet it down for a few months before the clammer returned. The passenger seat also clunked fiercely and it was rarely ever sat in. The Chickup noises also started at about 3K also.

I'm having this same problem right now with my 08 Silverado. Clunk under front left when turning (usually when turning left). Going to the dealer Monday...

Did you ever figure out what was causing your clunk while turning left? I have a 2003 suburban that started doing it a while back. Only while turning left. Weird!! If you can let me know what you learned I will be greatful.
