Condensation In Distributor Cap '96 Suburban 5.7 2wd

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to the moisture accumulating inside the distributor cap of a 1996 Chevy Suburban 1500 2wd?

I know that this is causing an intermittent no-start or hard-start condition on days with high humidity. I replaced the dist. cap and rotor only a few months ago (I think just before or at the start of winter), and now with the rain and real humid days at the end of May, beginning of June, the truck has been really hard to start in the mornings.

I understand there is a hole at the bottom of the distributor to act as a vent, but it seems to be more of a liability than functional.

Does anyone have a solution to this, or a work around that doesn't involve just replacing the cap and rotor every few months?

Matt
