Blk Painted Door Handles

Did a search, and i think everyones signature showed up, lol. Seen painted door handles on some website but they were not black. Any way i think painted door handles would really look good on my truck, color is black, submodel-crew cab. Year is 2008. Thanks alot in advance, god i love this site. Jamison

That would be the way to go!! Plus there already painted since there "takeoffs" (You have to buy them unpainted from GM)

That guy has a lot more colors than most. I search all the time for Stealth Gray and have yet to see a set. Dealership quotes $400 installed. Little rich for my blood.

Are these things easy to install? I'd have 4 of them, and I don't want them to take forever to do. I assume they would fit like factory handles?

They are factory handles. Instead of taking the textured black handles off, trying to sand, prep, and paint - this is the easy way to do it. You need to remove the inner door panels, disconnect the linkage and reassemble. Having someone with really skinny forearms will help to. I did mine the first time by myself and it took me about an hour and a half to do both doors. After knowing how to do it, I can swap them in about 20 minutes now. All you need is a flat screwdriver and a (10mm ? i think) socket with an extension (not to mention time and patience)!
