17" Rims Installed On My 99'

Hey Guys,

Well finally got all my ducks in a row and got my new Rims and Tires installed.

17" MHT Rims and Hankook P265/70/R17 Rubber.

Was a little worried about the Offset of the rims and the width of the rims but, the stoutly look is starting to grow on me.

Enjoy...

Evan

Looks pretty good to me. Glad you got those steelies changed.

Since you're running street tires, I probably would've gone with 18s, but they still look damn good. They go perfectly with the rest of the truck.

And they're a million times better than the stock steelies.

Thanks for the Props guys. I went with P rated tires cause I don't haul a lot of big weight and I can still tow with these tires. Plus it's a 2WD so no booney bashing for me..

Which Hankook did you go with? I have their Icebears on my wife's Impala and they've been exceptional (but they don't make them in truck sizes). How are yours in ride, noise, dry and wet?

EDIT: Forgot to say great looking wheels! I'd love to have a set of those!

Hey Lewis,

I went with the Dynapro RH03's There a lot quieter than my Uniroyal's were and provide a much smoother ride, IMO. I've noticed a considerable increase in Dry traction and thankfully we haven't had any rainy weather yet but, I will update when we get some of the wet stuff. I hope they are a much better tire in the rain as my Uniroyal's were an LT tire and very hard so traction was pathetic. However, it's hard to have great traction in the rain with nothing over the rearend....

So far so good, though.... :withstupid:
