Heck yeah! I was out most of the day when my friend told me that Dale Jr won. So I decided to watch the race anyways just to see how it all unfolded. Rather uneventful race, but the win made it all worth it! I mean, talk about close... very nice.

I wish that I was watching it... I have lost interest to stop all the things that I got to get done to watch a race that my favorite driver hasnt won a race in forever!!!

Praise God that he won....

He cheated just like his old man, everyone knows you can pass the pace car under caution. He should be fined, the win striped and his points taken away. NASCAR needs to do the right thing, if they don't and show favoritism they lose all credibility.

Ah...Your kidding right

He did pass the pace car (Just like you said he could!) and when NASCAR told him he couldn't do that he backed off,I don't see how passing the pace car helped him win anyway,It didn't.

And they won't take the win away,When was the last time that happened?

Point is....He won.

Heres a piece of the article from NASCAR.COM this morning on this.....

NASCAR official Jim Hunter said that Earnhardt did not violate a rule, saying that he needed only to maintain "a reasonable speed or a reasonable pace" behind the pace car and that once Earnhardt was warned not to surge ahead of it, Earnhardt complied.

Kenseth didn't see it that way.

"There's nothing wrong with going down on the apron. It's everybody's idea to save fuel -- but I didn't think you could pass the pace car," Kenseth said. "The leader would stand on the gas and go 10 car lengths ahead of the pace car and shut the motor off. I thought it was confusing and I had to stay closed up."

NASCAR already lost all credibility when they let Tojo in and with all the favoritism they show'em (hell NASCAR officials and announcers fight over who gets to bend over next for Toyota).

Yeah, it seems that some people are "upset" about the whole passing the pace car thing. But the point of the rule is prevent people from trying to gain a lap. Jr. was just trying to save gas. And yeah, he pushed it a bit, just as any driver would have in his position. Also, in the past, as what happened here, the driver was given a warning, and he backed off. Then won on mileage as many drivers have done, especially as Michigan.
