if i order an 08/09 gm 2500 ext cab gas with the 160 amp alternator plus dual batteries is there a differance in ordering one with the snow plow prep package. don't need the switch and it comes with the high fow bumper, am i missing something

I don't think there is any difference besides the switch for the beacon. That's exactly what I did but because the snow plow prep package was not an option on the crew cab.

my dealer keeps telling me i need to order it, but he's not catching the fact its a ext cab

I think all HD's come with that high flow bumper... never seen one without it.
