sleepur606 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 All right guys, I need some help. I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. I have access to GM Tech 2 at work and need to program my BCM for the factory fog lights. Is there any way to program the BCM with the Tech 2? If so, can you give me some detailed instructions. I've never used the thing before and a co-worker is going to try and help me out, but you never know what'll happen when no one's done it before. Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Chris
cammiller Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 You will need access the TIS and the VCI number to do that propgramming.

Blue Gorilla, Okay, so we have TIS 2000 with our Tech 2 and not sure what the VCI number is...? Is a laptop needed or can it be done just from the Tech 2 programmer? Is there any way you could give me sort of a "walk through" to doing the programming, if you know how and don't mind? Thanks Chris
cammiller Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 The VCI number is one that GM assigns that VIN to change it for the option you add.

cammiller Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 You would have to go to a dealer and get it. If there is another way, I don't know it.
