4x4 Low

Yup, tried to use 4x4 low for the first time today and yesterday. I've never used 4 Low since I bought my truck new (about a year ago). I've used 4 HI quite a bit, but when I tried switching into 4 LOW, the light just blinked and then stayed on 4 Hi.

 

I was going 3-5 KM/H when I was doing the switch, just like the manual told me. What the heck is going on?

IIRC 4LOW requires you to be at a complete stop and the vehicle in neutral or park.

I think that you can be rolling at 3-5kmh in neutral but you are correct, either neutral or park. I would highly suggest not moving during the switch though. Prolly better for the transfer case.

 

The blinking light is the "hea, I am trying" light

Make sure the truck's in neutral.

Ahaha, thanks guys, my bad. The book said rolling at around 3-5 km/h to switch into 4 LO, I forgot about the neutral part of it.
