Dic Switch

Hey all, I ordered a DIC switch for my 08 Silverado from the parts department. After recieving the order they informed me that they come in lots of 4 and I would need to buy all 4. I'm wondering if anyone would like to buy one, as I will have 3 extra. I will sell them for $90.00 CAN which is comparable accross the board now anyways. Shipping would be extra. Let me know if anyone is interested.

 

I'd like to keep the switch but if I can't find any others to buy the other 3 I will have to return them.

Haha, it sounds like they ripped you off. You should have called around or ordered one online. There are dealers who sell them individually.

I didn't get ripped off, I work at the dealership, Thing is when the switch was ordered the description didn't say lot of 4, so if they want to return it they have to return all 4, if they sell me one they are stuck with 3 switches that will never sell.

 

So my issue is I will have to buy 4 to get the one and I figured I could pass this unfortunate sercumstance on to others who maybe looking for the switch, I'm using it to upgrade my LS model.

Buy one from somewhere else like gmpartsdirect.com. They'll sell them one at a time. You can also go the cheaper route and buy just the parts separately and then assemble it. Check the link in my sig to the thread that covers this topic.
