2004 Express Remote Programming

GM truck of a boxier variety!! Hope you can help! Bought a loaded 04 Express used but no remotes.... have one from a 2003 Savana (4 button also) just hoping it can be programmed..

2500 6.0 v-8 passenger van

I was in a similar situation. Bought a 2005 Express used. Had the power door locks, but no remotes. I ended up buying the remotes off of ebay.

 

Unlike the trucks, the Express vans need to be programmed by the dealer. I'm not sure if your older remotes would work or not, but if they don't you can buy remotes for the van on ebay for about $15.

Yep, got the remotes off Ebay too - what did it run at the dealer to reprogram?

My dealer did it for free, since we had just bought the van from them. It only took a few minutes though, so I would imagine that most dealers would charge 1/2 hour of labor, since that's usually their minimum.
