Kenwood 7023 Ipod Sound?

Hey all,

 

Would love some help or advice here.

 

I've installed a Kenwood ddx 7023 on my 08 GMC Sierra,

Everything works just perfectly, but when I connect my Ipod to the Ipod jack IP300 , the ipod song list appears , and everything works fine, expect for the music, when played, it sounds like 3d , or the music is fine, and the vocals are in the background, extremely weak vocals with loud musics, its like they swapped !!

 

I've tried with more than 2 ipods, and same problem. I've tried changing options on the kenwood unit, but no luck.

Is there an option im missing ?

 

DVD & CD's work just fine , sound perfect. Except for the Ipod.

 

Any advice?

Check the cable connections. If they are fine, then the cable is probably defective. The same thing will happen if you plug headphones only halfway into the jack, it sounds like you are listening underwater.
