Put The Loaner Truck To Work...

So I kinda hinted to the sales guy that I really wanted to borrow a truck like pwall's for the day but this one was all I needed for the day...

 

This truck did ok and was great on fuel. I think that it had like between a quarter and a half tank of gas.

 

It was equipped as a LT with the 5.3l V8, it said that it had the cylinder management thing but the light never came on when I was detachted from the tralier... it had 3.42 gears which I think that it still had a little more get up and go than blackey with those gears just sounds like the engine is doggin it.

 

I think that the coolest feature about this truck is the roll down rear ext cab windows...

 

 

I went this afternoon and got my truck back.., With new rotors and a much better ride + the rear passenger door locks now too. It got detailer again and topped off with fuel and I am a happy customer.

Thats because there is no light "per-say",You have to go into the DIC,If it has one,and set the display to the "INSTANT MPG",That is where it tells you if your in V8 or V4 mode.

It can be so transparent you don't know what mode your in,You can only tell by the DIC display.

haha yeah all thats there are a bunch of weeds.. I got sod laid in the back though.. I am going to rip up my yard this fall and plant seed....

Your lucky that you got a truck for a loaner. Last time I got a loaner it was a basic Pontiac g6 and I barely fit inside.
