We Need More People To Speak Up In Here!

We need a lot more people speaking up in here. If you go back a year or two, you'll see that we had tons of people posting. Now we seem to have more lurkers than posters. About a dozen of us are making fools out of ourselves regularly just to keep up the banter. (and I'm sure you 'd like to see us shut it at times)

You can't be afraid of getting picked on! Have you SEEN what they do to me (or daddy or Jeff)? It's all about the fun of just being here and being a part of the community. We have a lot of posts about the technical specifications of the 3rd left rear lugnut on a 99 Sierra 2500 HD... but we need to hear about other stuff too. POST AWAY!

CHIME IN! Be a part of the show!

WOO HOO!

Right on ....like just before Jeff called me GAY or something like that.... because he wishes he had daddy's 20's and is insecure...I understand :(

I just havn't had time this 4th weekend. I replaced both inner & outter tie rods on the truck, took it in for a reline, would you believe it was barely out. Its better to be luckly than good. I then got a set of Michelin LTX A/T2s, nice. I went home and changed oil in the truck and wifes car. Mowed the yard. Watched fireworks, Today I rewired all the outlets in the camper. Damn I'm tired.

Its too soon to tell but I think I am going to like them. They are very quiet. I had Bridgestone Revos. They had great traction but were a little too noisy for me. They lasted 50K, not bad I guess.

It's summer man, spending too much time outside enjoying the truck (and weather) rather than typing about it

Besides, I'm sure my psts will go up when I'm back at work again tomorrow instead of being on vacation :(

I know I've been a lurker. I used to spend a couple hours a day on here but now that worthless banter fill most threads I check new topics and in 10 minutes I'm on to another site.

Speak up? Seems sometimes that by the time I come up with a good reply, the thread already has 5 gazillion pages to leaf through!

Still I'm usually good for a meaningless post or two a day. :(

Currently im working on a 6 speed conversion for the truck, so my posts are information asking.

But i have been away for about 2 months reason why i havnt been involved. But here now and posting again.

Most of my posts are replies to the requests for build sheets/"VIN checks"......Or me picking on Jeff!! Speaking of which....wheres he been at the last few days? :(

Ive been lurking a lot but the fact is my 99 Silverado is just running along with nothing going wrong. I'll have ownd my truck for 9 years at the end of this month and so far all I had to fix was a battery and a new TB (both replaced under warranty).

I added some Air-Lift bags last month to help with towing my Vette and it has really made a difference in ride and keeping the truck level. I just got back from a weekend autocross event near Vancouver B.C (it was a Corvette vs Porsche challenge and we managed to kick some Porsche butt!! Well, except for the GT3 that showed up....) and the ride up and back was very smooth even towing about 5400lbs. I managed to average 11.5MPG for the round trip while running most of the way at 70.
