just a statement for you all-- i have tried a couple diff thermostats by mr. gasket. 180F and a 160F degree. and also have a stock 195F failsafe my truck would hardly warm up unless it was like 30C degrees outside( 85F-90F?) it ran at like just above the first number on temp gauge which was 40C. this is with the 180F degree thermostat. racked my brain trying to figure out why it was runnin so cool (just rebuilt and put in motor this past feb), thinking that the thermostat was good. finally put in a stock type 195thermostat and now she warms up fast- still only like maybe 75 but im happy with that. prolly my flex-lite fan with no clutch adding to that cooling. but yeah oem wins in this case for me, so just a warning i believe these products are junk!!!!!!!!!!
