Two Amps Daisy Chained Question

I'm just wondering if I hook one amp up for subs and daisy changed rcas to another amp which i need for my 6 and 1/2s if that would work or do I need two differnt setups coming from the head unit. Also I need to hook this up to a stock silverado head unit and I think I can use the Speaker level input instead of the rcas please correct me if I'm wrong then plug my second amp to the first amp using rcas. I'm not sure if this makes a whole lot of sense but I thought I'd ask

Yes you can use the line-out from one amp to feed the other. I used the line out from my 4 channel amp to feed my sub amp instead of the way you are doing it. Speaker level inputs from the head unit will work.
