Throttle Body Spacers

I was just wondering if anyone has installed a throttle body spacer on their trucks. I had one on my 01 Dodge Ram, 05 Silverado, and 06 GTO. Just wanted to know if anyone has installed one on a new 07 or newer NBS Sierra or Silverado. I have the Volant CAI already in the truck and was wondering if I should even bother going this route again or not.

Thanks for any input..

uhhh I would never do a throttle body spacer again, the whistling is so annoying. I say it won't make a lick of difference.

Thats cool, I never had that noise everyone has been talking about...Cool.. Save my $100. for my tank of gas...

I dont think its compatible with my Volant anyway...atleast that is what Volant says....Ill get my E3 plugs instead....hehe

+1 the whistling isnt really annoying, but it makes your truck seem like its got a leak or something.

The whistle only sounds good when you stomp the gas, it will emit a short whistle almost like a blow off valve on a turbo

Save your money, i dint noticed a damn difference

Had one on my 2002 YukonXL, and like others, hated the annoying whistle....and no difference in performance.

Tune had the most improvement..... ;)

I did read up on this one. Save your money. They don't do anything at all on port injection type engines. For it to make a difference, you'd need a TBI engine or an engine with a carburetor. The spacer on a carbed or TBI engine will allow the air and fuel to mix a bit better. Whereas on a port injection engine, fuel doesn't get mixed with air until after the throttle body. That's what I read and it made sense to me.
