03 Cluster Help

I have an 03 3500 silverado out of warranty, and am having problems with my gauge cluster. I have read a lot about gauges going crazy or some not working. Mine doesn't seem to have the same problem. The entire cluster will work or doesn't work. It usually takes a minute or two after I start the truck before the cluster will work, when it comes on it will stay on and work perfect until I shut off the truck. Although sometimes the cluster doesn't turn on at all. If I pull the cluster out, before I have a chance to unhook the wiring it turns back on. Connection seems good, no obvious bad spots. Sounds like a connection problem to me but what can anyone else tell me.

GM sent out letters in regards to cluster issues. If the truck is under aprox 80000 miles they were replacing them. You may want to call your local dealer and ask for more specific details.

Truck has 150,000 miles.

I have had this problem too. I am at 100,000 miles. My spedometer read 120 mph.
