Just wondering what gas is where you live right now. Today, I bought it for 3.99 in our small community. It's gone down, it was 4.19 or so last week.

I paid $3.53 today. The price has been steadily falling for the past two weeks here in some parts of Eastern NC. I went further inland and saw gas for $3.86 I don't get it but I'm going to enjoy the lower prices while they last.

this crap is refined right up the street, and we are usually one of the lowest!

I think we are getting screwed more then the rest of you. I took our gas price in liters and converted it to price per gallon using today's exchange rate. Ready for it? We are paying $5.03 per gallon. BOHICA.

Let's see... The last time I filled-up (prior to today) was on 7/20. The local QuikTrip was charging $4.15 / gallon for Premium. At lunch today, I filled-up again.. The same place was charging $3.87 / gallon for Premium. I think they were charging $3.59(?) for Regular... That's quite an improvement in just a little over three weeks! Sure makes me glad I didn't buy into all the media hype that $5 / gallon gas was just around the corner!

Crude oil prices have been readjusting back to a little more realistic levels. It's back down under $115 / barrel now. That's still well above where it probably "should" be, but it's a heck of an improvement from the $140 / barrel we were seeing a while back.
