Concept Suburban?

Saw these on a non-gm site. The poster was pretty vague, stating he beleived them to be a diesel offering in the suburban. Anyone else now anything about these?

To the best of my knowledge, it was published as a concept for an HD model. I doubt GM will ever produce it.

I thought it was pretty sharp. Looks like a crew cab silverado with an enclosed bed. Doors, wheel flares, front end-all silverado!!

I expect the 4.5L Diesel to be a big hit also. I already want one in a 1/2 ton Silverado haha.

With better mileage possible, I can see ford GM and Dodge putting some diesel engines in SUV and light duty trucks.

The last I heard, all the new truck development had been delayed "indefinitely." I doubt we'll see this thing anytime soon.

That rear fender bulge with marker lights reminds me of the 4 wheel steer thing they had some time ago.

Yeah it was just a concept at the SEMA show I think last year or something like that and I doubt it will ever be produced. A diesel suburban might be produced, but it will look like a regular suburban, without the truck front end.

I don't want to stray away from the crowd here but I don't think the front end of a Silverado belongs on a Suburban. It just doesn't look right to me. Just my opinion I guess.

The current suburban and yukon look terrible imo. This would at least make them more respectable looking.
