Replacing Evo/steering Sensor - 97 Tahoe

Ok, I've got the new steering sensor and am ready to replace it. Typically, it always looks easier than it is. On the package, it appears you remove the two bolts and somehow (magically) you can slip off the old senor and put on the new one.

Well, I have the two bolts removed, yet nothing moves and it doesn't look like removing them (and them only) would actually accomplish much.

What are the steps to replace the steering sensor?

TIA,

Larry

It has been awhile since I changed one. disconnect the steering shaft inside the cab near the firewall(I thought is was one bolt) and seperate. Unplug the sensor and slide off the end of the shaft. If I remember correctly,You have to depress some tabs on the sensor before it will come off.
