I have this kit on my '01. Definitely buy the upgrade with the better shocks, unless you plan on putting on other shocks later. I have the standard basic package and it came with the stiffest shocks you can imagine. Running over a cockroach is like hitting a speed bump at 15. I had problems with my a-arms and bushings after a few years. The lift causes them to wear out prematurely and sometimes pop out completely. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow of what it looks like if I have the time. I also had to have my upper a-arms replaced because the worn out bushings damaged them a little bit. If you go with this kit, you might want to keep a little bit of extra money in the bank because down the road you'll probably need it. Other than these problems, the kit is amazing. I have no alignment problems, all of the hardware is as strong as can be. I even jacked up the front of the truck once using the kit's crossmember to place the jack under and it didn't bend or anything. Below is one of the new a-arms installed, a side pic with 33" mud terrains on 17" rims, and a pic from the front.

I don't know if the problems with the suspension components is directly related to the lift. I was kind of hoping someone else knew about potential problems with 2WD lift kits of this height.
