Toyo Tires

I am in need of new tires and was wondering what everybodies thoughts are about the Toyo Open Country M/T. They will be going on my 01 2500hd. Tire size will be 35-12.50-20 or the metric size. I can't remember which they offer. I would also like any other thoughts on other mud tires. Mileage, wear, useability, etc.

Thanks everybody.

They're pretty goddamn expensive but they look they look good on the road, can't say much else as I haven't run those yet but they're on my wishlist haha

They are on a lot of the "big budget" builds in the mags I've read, but like any M/T tire they won't last nearly as long as an A/T or H/T. I know someone who had Dunlop M/Ts and they lasted about 20,000.

My cousin swears by the Toyo Proxies - he uses them on all his cars.

I purchased Toyo Open Country for my Trailblazer and they sucked. Squealed around every corner (the stock Continentals never did that) and they wore out in no time. I will never use their truck tires again.

I have the OPEN COUNTRY A/Ts on my 07 Classic 4x2....I love them...great traction, no hydroplaning, good wear, and comfortable (not harsh riding). I don't know how they might compare to the M/Ts, but I know my next set will also be Toyos based on this experience....they were not cheap, but not out of line for a quality tire...
