I got so accustomed to seeing the Superchips girl, the Toyota ad caught me off gaurd.

I'm running firefox with adblock plus, and I still have ads on everything. Maybe it's because of vista?

 

And I have absolutely no problem with Toyoduh paying for us to have fun.

Hit CTRL + Shift + A

 

That will bring up the "blockable" elements. Kill anything with "adserver" or "google ad" or anything of the like in there. My screen is clear except for forum stuff and it loads a TON faster.

Did you subscribe to one of the lists of ads that they can block for you?

adblock plus is a really nice add on it is so nice to have... i have never seen an ad on this site i didnt ever know they were there lol

 

and with adblock you can block any image... so if you dont like seeing peoples sigs... you cant just block them and the page loads faster..

Sometimes you can see if you dont have a sig the adds for 50% off nissan titans starting at $13,600.. I dont care if they were giving them away as many problems as my brother has had with his... I hate them things!

I had seen it listed int he Add-Ons section, but saw the "plus" part of the name and assumed it was a pay-for thing.. I didn't see a point in paying for it. So, I had never loaded it. Now, I see it's not a pay-for product and I'm wondering why I waited so long to give it a try!

Or if more people would use the "save for web" option in PS instead of just saving as a 100MB .jpg, and immediately uploading it to photobucket sigs wouldn't affect page load times.
