Some People Shouldn't Have A Drivers License

I'm chilling at a red light, rocking to some Disturbed and wham..get hit from behind. I'm like wtf!?!?! I get out of my vehicle to find out some stupid fat, old, hispanic lady who could barely talk english, hit some dude in an Acura Integra with her chrome bumpered caddy and he naturally hit into me. The dude and myself were both stopped at this light for a good 10 seconds too. Neck/jaw is sore right now. Get this, she claims she got distracted/scared from an ant on her dashboard. That's a new one, even the police found that amusing.

THANK GOD I wasn't in my truck or I would have not been so understanding and had a sh*t fit. So, poor g/f's 07 Nissan Sentra has two indentations from the guys licence plate screws and some scratches on the rear bumper, I figured it would be much worse after I got hit. It's a lease, so not sure if it's worth paying a deductable to fix it, or if would go unnoticed. I should be able to get the scratches out.

Thing that is bugging me now is, I have enough problems with my back, now I have to deal with whiplash, and my damned jaw is sore too..sweet.

Rant over.

Maybe you should build 3 more of those cages...err GG's. One for each end of your vehicles.

Sorry to hear that though. Hope your neck isn't badly hurt. Good luck.

Dude, not to sound like a jerk, but did you hit your head in the accident? You got rear ended and notified the police, either her or her insurance company will cover your damages. Don't pay a dime and don't let it slide, because when you turn the lease in, you will pay for it then.

...at least it was only a Nissan. just joking!

Seriously though, shitty deal man. I almost got t-boned a few days ago from an old lady who ran a red light, and then she had the audacity to shoot me a dirty look like it was my fault.

On the plus side, at least everyone is okay. It would have sucked if she was going a lot faster.

Wouldn't my g/f still have to pay the deductible? I'm not thinking clearly I guess...should go buy a neckbrace and sue!

The cops were like..your neck hurts? I'm like..yeah a bit. They offered to call an ambulance..I'm thinking I don't need an ambulance. They were triyng to help the lawsuit along I guess..lol j/k

Seriously, could be worse. Still not sure if she was rolling when she hit him, or she was stopped and just mashed on the gas from terror of the giant ant.

Sorry to hear about the incident Umberto. You're right, there are a lot of people out there who shouldn't be driving. After each accident someone has, they should be forced to take another driver's test to get their license back. I do however realize the amount of work this would create for licensing departments/enforcement.

Glad you are okay. Be careful what you say about Daddy next time and I won't have to send my crew of old geezers out to bust you up!

If your neck hurts, go get it checked out ASAP. That is one of those things you don't let go unchecked because it can catch up to you later in life. Cervical spine surgery is not fun.

+1....trust me, if she has insurance they will cover all the cost associated w/ your medical expenses and your vehicle. Don't take the first offer either.

Glad you weren't seriosly hurt, but dude, if your neck hurts, go get it checked out. Eventually, it will catch up to you, and cause problems down the road.

Picture two perfectly indented depressions made by the screw heads below that were holding his license plate on, and some scratches, not deep, that can possibly be removed with some rubbing compound. Not sure if any damage was done behind the 5mph bumper, will have to take a closer look in the sunlight.
