Central Indiana Drivers Beware

Just a heads up to anybody in Central Indiana. In the last 2 days I have seen multiple instances (5) of unmarked Mustang GT's pulling drivers over. HWY's 37, 65 and 465. One of them was Silver, one was Burgundy. Aside from the lights flashing there is nothing at all to help one discern these cars from regular Mustangs. Just wanted to provide a heads up.

Minimum ticket in Marion county is $150. Fortunately, none of those instances involved me.

old news. They have been patroling all spring/summer with the new mustangs. There has been a blue one with white stripes on 465 on the west side daily.

Back in April they were training at ORP. It made the news/paper

Luckily I fly over Indiana and not have to drive through it. :D

I actually saw a county sheriff pulling somebody over, and his 'stang was painted up like the rest of the cars. Pretty cool. :D

$150 minimum?....so what 400-500 speeding tickets will pay for the car, upgrades, and man-hour-pay of writing the tickets? We have towns in OK where a single officer can do that in less than a month(well, not anymore, the court ordered the town's police to stop writing speeding tickets it was so obvious it was a speed trap. You can only get one for doing like 15 over for a year or two since the sentence last year or something like that)

Old news? Then why didn't you post it to give us Indiana drivers the heads up? Do you not like us?

It's the first time I have seen them so I thought I'd share. I have yet to see the one you referenced but I am a South-sider. Maybe that's why it's new news to me.
