Autotrac Vs. 4wd

Autotrac being a semi-automatic on/off when required where 4WD is full time ,, that I get (Delta between tire rotation implying loss of traction - the fronts apply drive )But I don’t understand when it comes to a 6" Procomp lift - a new drive shaft is required due to vibration ...With the Manual Shift - drive shaft not required ..Are the drive shafts the same for a manual transfer / Autotrac case ??

Or can this be bypassed from switching from 2WD bypassing AUTO and going directly to 4WD

???
