04 Envoy Mods

I have a 2004 envoy, 4.2L and i'm looking for some decent performance mods. I put a new intake on with some meager results, but i'm looking for the killer shit if there is any for this engine.

Watch your language, there are children present. As for "killer stuff" I dont really know of any. A few companies make the typical bolt ons for the 4.2L and a few even have programmers/modules, but as far as Turbos/Supers/N20 I think your on your own to make a custom kit.

Has anyone ever really modded one of these motors? I don't want to do a tune and then throw my transmission. But as far as bolt on stuff?

Lots of people have built them up, but like I said, most hardware is custom. Dont worry about your transmission. Its the same one GM uses behinds a variety of V8's.
