5.0 V-8 Mpg

Just curious as to anyone with a 5.0 is getting for MPG. I have a 98 Extended cab Sierra 4X4 that gets 18mpg consistently.

even though i dont have a 5.0 (305) i have the 5.7 and my last fill up i got 14.5..

 

i just got a vinyl cover this week though so it may go up a bit more. 18 is pretty good. i got 18.5 with a 4 wheeler in the back on a 50 mile trip one time though.

Cubic inches of an engine are 61 inches per liter give or take 6 inches depending on rounding.

 

305/61=5.0

 

350/61=5.73 rounded down to 5.7

 

302/61=4.95 rounded up to 5.0

Hahaha. I know what you mean. In my physics class of 24 students 2 (one was me) knew how to round. It was pathetic.
