I Fixed My Tailgate

The tailgate on my 2008 Silverado did not want to open if the truck was parked anywhere that wasn't flat. I pulled the tail lights loose, adjusted the latch pins and it works just fine now. Couldn't find any place that had specs on how they should be adjusted so just eyeballed it. It latches and releases just fine now no matter where I park, DAve

Yes,,, am guessing from the factory,, I bought the truck brand new. The driver side pin had to be moved about 1/4 inch up, the passenger side seem to be pretty close to where it need to be. DAve
