Removing Leather Cover

Well as most of you know, my heated seats decided to stop working right before winter starts. I was told by alot of people it's more then likely the elements in the seats that have gone. I order two of them from gmpartdirect.com and hopefully will have them in the next couple weeks or so. My question now is, how do you remove the top (back) of the seat cover to gain access to the elments? Has anyone done this? Also how do you remove the armrest? Thanks
