Delta Pro Limited Edition

Picked up a Delta Pro Limited Edition box for my 2008 Silverado today. $377 with tax. It seems to be built much better than some of the ones I've seen (Kobalt, Husky, etc.)

 

I thought it was a nice price so I went for it!

 

Not a Weatherguard, but definitely not a cheapie either.

I'm a huge fan of my Delta pro box. I got it 2 years ago for my old truck, and took it back before I traded it in to put on the new one.

 

I never had any problems with it leaking when it rained - and I used to live in Seattle. Good quality, solid construction, and the latching mechanism is probably the big reason I went with it. I saw that GM has a couple options now to get direct from them. There's several that latch into the cargo management system, and GM also has a crossover with the bowtie on the back end. But I think the Delta pro is the better way to go.

 

Can't wait to see it.

Picture 3. As you can see, the "Tractor Supply" box is actually a Delta. In this case, a Delta Pro Limited Edition. I wanted to remove the 2 TSC badges and the Delta badge, but they are riveted on so it would leave holes. I might just mount some Delta badges in place of the TSC ones.

Delta Pro is Delta's upscale product. I believe it is on par with the RK and Weatherguard aluminum boxes.

 

Sounds like a good buy to me.

Found a LIKE NEW black Weatherguard for $275, so the Delta is now on my dad's 2009 Sierra.
